Tina O'Brien the Big Apple of Ryan's eye

CORE! That Ryan Thomas has got some cheek as he steers his Corrie Streetheart Tina O'Brien around a New York ice rink.

The loved-up soap stars were snapped in the Big Apple as they had a lark in Central Park on a break from Weatherfield.

Ryan, 20—the Street's hunky hod carrier Jason Grimshaw— had a lot on his hands as Tina wobbled round the rink.

But his naughty antics weren't Strictly Ice Dancing, more a cheeky attempt at making sure Tina didn't take a tumble.

One onlooker said: "The kids looked really wrapped up in each other. They had the other skaters in fits of laughter as they charged around the ice, grabbing at each other and desperately trying not to fall on their butts."

Then the lovebirds slipped off for a giggling go on the swings before pelting each other in a snowball fight.

Ryan and 21-year-old Tina, who plays gymslip mum Sarah-Lou Platt, flew to New York the day after Boxing Day for a week-long getaway after Corrie bosses gave them a fortnight off.

If they carry on like this, it can't be long before we see him slipping...a ring on her finger.
