More information has emerged over Heather Locklear's recent arrest for driving under the influence of something that isn't alcohol. The actress was stopped by the police last week after a member of the public reported that she was driving erratically, with the paparazzi arriving soon afterwards.
It turns out the whistle blower is called Jill Ishkanian, and she is clearly a good citizen merely hoping to keep dangerous drivers off the road. Apart from the fact that she used to work for the celebrity magazine Us Weekly, is under investigation by the FBI for allegedly hacking into the magazine's computers in order to get the addresses of celebrities and has admitted that she was actually following Locklear, hoping for a story.
After calling 911 she immediately dialled 666 and placed a call to a leading paparazzi agency, hence their sudden arrival to catalogue Heather's embarrassment. This means that the woman who started the investigation also has the most to benefit from the situation financially, and she is also one of very few people who actually saw the actress driving erratically (or 'drunk' as Ishkanian wrongly surmised).
What a lovely woman and a fantastic career. If you follow someone around for long enough they're sure to do something newsworthy, aren't they? Apart from David Blaine, obviously.
